Real Impact
One lesson that has always stayed with me from mission training was when Pastor Deuel said, “You cannot say ‘no’ and ‘Lord’ in the same sentence.” That kind of black-and-white, no-nonsense truth is so refreshing, especially in the delicate and often compromising world we live in today. Pastor Deuel and Janet are true leaders in every sense of the word—firm in faith, unwavering in mission, and humble in heart.
I’ve stayed in touch with some of the men I met there. I’ve watched broken men turn into leaders—running businesses and glorifying God. I’ve seen young men weep over their parents’ addictions and then go on to travel the world and knowing it is all because of Christs healing power.

Because of God's protection on our incredible journey once we finally arrived, we were able to share messages with children at Muslim schools, worship with a group of Christian students at a Muslim school whose energy and excitement for the Lord was contagious, encourage pastors at a conference and receive loud cheering anytime the gospel was spoken
