The Sending Place incorporated and has our permanent IRS status as a 501.c.3 corporation in 2001. The first team was sent on a short-term ministry in 2002 to Russia. Since then many teams have gone to many countries to do a variety of ministry. The Sending Place trains the average person sitting in the pew to go on a 2-3 week short-term ministry. We train 9-10 Sessions usually starting about 5-7 months prior to your ministry. Teams learn a variety of things, how to give a testimony, teach, preach, there is Biblical training as well as the practical do’s and don’ts for mission work.
Our teams always go to a host. This is usually a local church or long-term missionary. Our teams work with children, adults, addicts, the handicap, the sick, the lost, the ignored, and the unloved. Each of our ministries is unique and fulfilling. God is to be praised for His hard work among the nations.
WHO CAN GO??? Almost anyone. We require you to be 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent. We’ve had someone as young as 7 and as old as 88. People with handicaps and those who thought this would never be something they could do.
